How do I dot-dab a curved chimney breast
Hi Guys
Can anyone tell me how I can bend a piece of plasterboard to allow me to dot-dab a curved side of my chimney breast. I attach a picture so you can see what I'm talking about.
All feedback gratefully received
Thanks a lot

Hi pmozza,
Just cut the back of the plasterboard horizontal with a stanley knife where the curve is,snap the board back, just a couple of cuts just to break the paper. You can also dampen the board where you want the bend is and slowley bend to your curve requirment.
Hope this helps

Thanks a lot specialrider and Whitebeam, I've been staring at the wall for ages thinking the board would snap before I could bend it into shape. One thing I forgot to ask before is whether I can also get some sort of bendy angle bead that will bend along the edge of the curve ready for the skim?

Tell em to have the bricks cleaned up and keep em how they are, I'd love brickwork like that as a feature in my room, each to their own i suppose

Thanks a lot guys. Whitebeam - I'm going to pick an arch bead up tomorrow so thanks for your advice.
Oli - I'd love to keep the bricks natural but they're over 100 years old and in a bit of a state.
Thanks to everyone for your advice, I now feel much more confident to takle the job.
