Unhappy Blisters or bubbles

Hi everyone, this is my first post as i am new here. Anyway i have just completed a level 1 City & Guilds plastering coarse at age 37 (i am so proud lol) and been doin a fair amount of jobs for myself. I took to plastering like a duck to water and amazed myself and my teacher how well i could do it in such a short time, however my big head soon shrunk when on a couple of jobs i noticed i am getting blisters under the surface of my multifinish! its doing my head in as i dont know what im doing wrong. i can sometimes get rid of them by back trowling but i would really love to know what i am doing wrong to start with. i cant work with any local plasterers to get help and advise as its slow for work round here and they wont help you out coz of competition...so please.. could someone show me how to get the zits out my finnish!!

Blisters are either to much water or dry backing and sucking the water out
