Re: Are you a spot board or a straight from the bucket kind of guy???
Im a straight from the bucket man.
I used to use a spot board but i work on my own and its just another thing to set up and keep clean.
I also like my space and if im in a small room then a bucket on it own is perfect.
The only problem i have had just using a bucket is when i stepped down off my hop up and put my foot staight in the mix!!

i much prefer to use spotboards but in domestic properties they'r mostly jsut in the way so digging out the bucket it is most of the time, but if theres chance for a spot and a large area to skim then ill make use of it as the benefits are well worth it

I use both.Depends on what situation I`m in.Better to use bucket as long as you don`t leave excess go off inside it.It`s a pain scraping it out clean enough for the next mix.

Straight out of the bucket for me. The main reason is usually space (or lack of it!!) in the room I'm working in. I would use spot boards if it was site work or a very large area as it is quicker than going back to the bucket all of the time.

mostly use spot when possible, find using out of bucket slows you down.but on stairways no option really.

Same as all the other guys, space is the key, haven't used a spot board in over a year. Like islandview says just another tool to load and unload.

Spot board stands are so cheap Oli, just as well buy one rather cause injury with sharp tools
