Metal Frame, preferences?
I've only just started using metal frame, took me a while to shake off the wood. I quite like the Gypframe, it locks together nicely. However, I'm not too fussed on the speedline brand - I've just completed a job using it - I will be going back to Gypframe next time around.

My only experience with metal frame was when re-plasterboarding part of a bathroom prior to tiling.
The old plasterboard doesn't come off quite so easily as it does with stud work. You have to be careful not to twist it out of shape when trying to remove stubborn screws etc.

Re: Metal Frame, preferences?
I'm new to the forum but I'm looking for some help.
We've recently set up a new website supplying Drylining materials. I thought it was clear from our site that we supply materials and not an installation service but apparently it isn't clear enough, and we've had a number of contacts looking for drylining fitters.
We specialise in I stud and ceiling grid so I came across this thread on google looking for people who could fulfill thesse enquiries. If you are a fitter or company looking for work please get in contact with us at info@dryliningdirect.com or go through the website dryliningdirect.com
If you do get in contact please email direct or go through the contact us section on the site. If you fill out the section for a quote then that's what you'll get.
Thanks.

Re: Metal Frame, preferences?
Genuinely we are a new company looking at building relationships and we get as many enquiries for people wanting contractors, or even a job, as well as for materials. All our services are offered through refferals. So, specialrider, if anyone wants work in Manchester let me know who you are and I may send something your way.
